The Jind Cricket Association was formed with the objective of augmentation of game of Cricket in the state of Haryana, in the year 1978 whereas state formed in 1966. However the Association was granted affiliation by the BCCI at a meeting of HCA. Till the year 2019 the Association was considered to be minnows of Haryana Cricket, it was only in July 2004 that the present set up headed by Mr. K.K Chahal & former president Ranbir Mahendra who is father of current chairperson Haryana Cricket Association i.e. Anirudh Chaudhary took over the reins of Jind Cricket Association (JCA) and the Association caught the eye of many.
